Post-Doctoral Researcher: Prognostics

USRA-RIACS is accepting applications for a Post Doctoral Researcher – Prognostics. The main objective is to improve upon the state of the art and practice in algorithmic approaches to fast and reliable prognosis of failures in complex aerospace systems. Both model-based and data-driven approaches are to be explored in pursuit of efficient techniques for fusing information from a variety of sources to improve suitable prognostic performance metrics. To that end, advanced methods need to be developed for remaining life estimation of components in aerospace applications. In addition, uncertainty management of the estimates and fault reconfiguration strategies need to be investigated.
